How the adventure began
Founded by two sisters, lifetime puzzle fans.
We puzzled every winter when the weather was stopping us from enjoying the surrounding of our beautiful Marseille.
We’ve been raised with the importance of helping others and having a positive impact around us.
So naturaly our careers ended up being in Conservation, Natural Disaster Risk Management, Education and Promotion of Associations.
Let’s start a new adventure!
When the pandemic struck, one of us ended up stuck in Botswana and ran to the toy store to stock up on puzzles to keep herself entertained.
Like many “puzzlers”, this passion helped her staying sane, and she naturally started to dream about making her own puzzles as a tool to promote artists and the ARC Gaborone and Kuru Development Trust associations, that needed help in these bizarre times.
This is how the project started…
Being passionate about puzzles, had other challenges. We had very high-quality expectations for our puzzles. Each puzzle piece had to be tight fitted, unique, mat finished, 1,9mm cardboard and of course it had to be produced within Europe to respect the environmental values. It wasn’t easy, but we found the perfect fit to take our project to the next step.
Botswana, as a theme for our first collection, came naturally. First of all, if you had the privilege to have visited this country, you would know it’s the perfect definition of SERENITY. Meeting the San tribe was unreal and out of this world. They welcome you into their world and suddenly, you become part of their world. It was truly an honor.
One of us was lucky enough to have visited Botswana many times over the past 8 years. Great friendships were bonded, which will last a lifetime. When they heard of the project, they whole immediately came “on board” supporting the project.
Nothing was too much to ask. Within a few weeks, the artists and the associations were picked and the whole project, and this adventure, could start.
After almost a year of dedication and hard work, this team effort resulted in an amazing and beautiful first collection we present to you, Botswana.
